Ellamore’s bikinis are made with either recycled nylon, recycled polyester, or recycled polyamide, derived from Italian Carvico®, ECONYL®, and REPREVE®. These fabrics are generally made from post-consumer materials, such as fishing nets, industrial plastic, and plastic bottles. Our bikinis are OEKO-TEX 100 Standard, and Global Recycled Certified Fabric.

Compared to conventional fabrics used in swimwear, using recycled fabrics has a much lower carbon footprint, and reduces water and energy consumption as compared to conventional swimwear fabrics.
